dc.description.abstract The protection of indigenous peoples’ rights is crucial for ensuring justice and equality in Bangladesh. Indigenous communities face challenges such as land dispossession, cultural marginalization, and limited political representation. Despite constitutional provisions and various laws, administrative gaps and unclear legal definitions weaken their protection. This research examines the legal framework governing indigenous rights in Bangladesh. It identifies major challenges in law enforcement, institutional weaknesses, and identity controversies. The study reviews international standards and comparative models from other countries. It highlights effective strategies that Bangladesh can adopt to strengthen legal protections. en_US
