dc.description.abstract This thesis investigates the push and pull factors influencing crime in Dhaka city, Bangladesh, by examining the socio-economic, cultural, and environmental contexts that shape criminal behavior. With a rapidly growing population and urbanization, Dhaka has become a focal point for understanding the complexities of crime in developing urban environments. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews to provide a comprehensive understanding of crime dynamics in the city. en_US
