Abstract:
The rapid advancement of the digital world has greatly changed how younger
generation communicate, learn, and see their place in society. As Generation Z
grows up and Generation Alpha enters school, it is important to understand how
social media use is affecting their mental health. This study looked at how online
activity affects behavior, emotions, and relationships. The results suggest that
social media can have both positive and negative effects on self-esteem and stress.
Those who use digital tools correctly are more confident and better problem-solvers.
Social media helps people stay connected, but it also makes it harder to control
emotions and increases the tendency to make unhealthy comparisons with others.
The study also suggests that it has an impact on the cultural and social life of
Generation Alpha in Bangladesh, which highlights the need for proper education
on healthy technology use.
