Car Doctor: An Android Application to Revolutionize Vehicle Service Sector

Abstract

In the high-speed world of today, car maintenance typically results in causing most people more stress. It is a common experience, over and over again, to hear car owners complain about locating original parts, getting fair service costs and finding trustworthy workshops. Far too frequently, they are stuck grappling with problems like fake parts, hidden fees and shoddy repairs that leave them feeling ripped off, out of pocket and then wary. Service shop owners, meanwhile, face their own challenges. “Removing customers, saving bookings and reporting everyday sales can be tasking and time consuming this in a way diminishes the efficacy of businesses and slows them down in response to this, we created the Car Doctor, a Flutter-built Android application deployed to Firebase. Car Doctor is a simple, easy to use and safe car loan calculator. To car owners, it offers a way to shop and buy brand parts, compare service pricing and read reviews, and then book service appointments, all from within its app. It would also help them to be in a better position to decide and not get cheated by some of the service providers. With the application, owners of shops have total control of their clients, appointments and sales in real-time all information is kept secure and close to access as well as it is automatically updated by Firebase. Car Doctor is a one stop shop for car owners and service providers to come together and service a car in an easy, transparent and trust worthy manner. It’s building trust and transparency, empowering customers to feel good about their choices and enabling shops to have the tools that they need to run their business smoothly and efficiently.”
