Internship on Web Design and Development

Abstract

In this report, I am providing an overview of my experiences and takeaways from my web design and development internship. Using Tailwind CSS, and Vue.Js to advance my understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP is my main objective. My goal was to improve my technical proficiency and obtain practical experience by working and assisting on discrete and modular tasks and ongoing projects. During the internship, I helped with web design tasks on different front-end modules of website projects, based on a regular and time-bound project. I worked on bug fix design, the responsiveness of the website UI on different devices and browsers, screen sizes according to the given UI/UX prototype, design optimization for CRO purposes, and speed. This experience has reinforced my foundation for a career in web design and development and given me insightful knowledge about professional procedures. I have also learned many aspects of industrial level of expertise, compliance, and competitiveness in the marketplace. This internship also helped me develop my interpersonal and problem-solving skills by giving me the chance to work cooperatively in a team. The regular input from the mentors helped me pinpoint my areas of weakness and offered pointers on how to adhere to industry standards.

I developed a proactive and solution-focused approach as a result of being exposed to real- world problems like resolving complicated bugs and meeting time constraints for projects.

In addition, I learned how crucial it is to keep records for the continued viability of a project over the long run. My understanding of technology has been greatly improved by this practical knowledge, which has also equipped me for future ventures in the field of web development. I now have the self-assurance to take on difficult tasks and the commitment to keep improving my knowledge in this ever-evolving subject.
