dc.description.abstract The GSM-Based Electrical Fault Protection System is an electrical fault management system which involves the use of an Arduino microcontroller, voltage, current, and temperature sensors to check and guard electrical circuits against typical faults and dangerous operating conditions. The system constantly monitoring the voltage levels, current flow and temperature. The system activates an alarm the instant the current overloads or unusual temperature increase occurs, to eliminate the danger of equipment destruction and potential harm to the personnel. A GSM module is used to send real- time notification to the user or operator through SMS so that the awareness is notified and acts taken. This is a cost effective alternative to improving the safety and reliability of electrical installations, especially in remote locations where manual observation is problematic. en_US
