dc.description.abstract This report presents a comprehensive analysis of the supply chain management practices at Kazi Farms Group in Bangladesh, undertaken as part of my Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. It captures key findings, responsibilities, and experiences during my internship, providing insights into the company's operations, challenges, and strategic positioning within the fast moving consumer goods FMCG in Bangladesh. The report also discusses quality control tools, document control, education and training programs, and the importance of a supplier feedback loop for ongoing improvement. Procurement processes are analyzed, focusing on demand planning, supplier selection, contracting, order placement, and monitoring supplier performance. Inventory management and quality assurance practices are also covered, highlighting their significance in ensuring efficient operations and product quality. Risk strategies are discussed, emphasizing the need for proactive sourcing, supplier assessment, negotiation, and constant enhancement of supplier relationships. Methodological approaches used in this report include qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. The scope of the report is defined, along with the limitations faced during the research process. The objectives and significance of the report are articulated, underscoring its relevance to both academic and professional spheres. Key findings and insights from the internship are presented, including the identification of operational challenges and the implementation of effective solutions.
