Internship Report on “Financial Operation of Debonair Limited”

Abstract

The internship report is a three-month corporate sector working experience. For this I was engaged in the Accounts and finance department at Debonair limited a Garment industry as a requirement for completing of my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. The primary objective of the report is to gain practical knowledge and hand on experience on the financial activities and operation of the Debonair limited through my internship practice. Throughout my internship journey I learn some kind of financial activities that was given to me while working on this department. Like voucher checking, bank reconciliation checking, posting ledger in account system sometimes which was my regular activities. These responsibilities help me to understand how internal control system and documentation are maintain in corporate sector. As this company annual data is not publicly available so I tried to access it through some connection in the company. Despite this limitation I was able to evaluate their financial practices and gain accuracy, transparency and efficiency in financial operation. My internship was a significant opportunity for me to apply my theoretical knowledge into practical studies. It has enhance my technical and soft skill also give me valuable insight of the garments sector. So, the overall journey of internship at Debonair limited was an enriching experience that enhance my ability to link academic knowledge with practical implication. I believe it will play an important role in shaping my career goal also built a professional path for me in the banking and finance sector.
