Abstract:
I prepared this report based on my experience as an intern at NRBC Bank PLC, Charabagh
Branch. The main objective of the internship was to learn about how banks work in the real
world and connect that knowledge to what I learned in university. Bangladeshis who live
outside the country started NRBC Bank PLC in 2013. Its goal is to help Bangladesh's economy
grow by providing quick and easy remittance services. The bank provides a wide range of
services, such as retail banking, financing for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and
large companies, remittances, foreign trade, and digital banking.
I worked in several areas during my internship, including opening accounts, making sure KYC
rules were followed, transferring money, and processing loans. These tasks taught me how
banks work, how to keep customers happy, and how to make sure that all activities follow the
rules. The experience helped me get better at working with others, understanding money, and
communicating.
In general, this internship taught me a lot about how the financial world works. It made me
want to start a career as an entrepreneur, where I can use my banking knowledge and leadership
skills to come up with new business ideas that help the economy grow.
