Abstract:
Training and development play a vital role in equipping individuals with the necessary skills across various fields. In today's fiercely competitive environment, possessing minimal or no skills poses a significant challenge to survival. Given the evolving landscape of the business world and the increasing array of challenges, effective training and development programs are essential for addressing these obstacles. Human resource management serves as a crucial facilitator in transforming unskilled individuals into valuable assets through the implementation of comprehensive training initiatives. The primary objective of this report is to assess the effectiveness of the training and development initiatives implemented at Dusai Resort & Spa. It encompasses a background analysis of the industry and organization, shedding light on their historical origins. It outlines the methodology employed to gather data, while highlighting the human resource practices at Dusai Resort that contribute to fostering a skilled workforce. The report delves into the training process and the objectives of the program, addressing the materials utilized, and also includes data analysis derived from an employee survey. The findings reveal existing challenges in the organization's training program, leading to the provision of recommendations for improvement and the creation of a more effective training regimen. Ultimately, the study culminates in a summative conclusion, offering insights into enhancing the internal training process to yield more productive outcomes.
