Abstract:
This internship report is based on a three-month hands-on experience at Mutual Trust Bank PLC, focusing on analyzing the organization's training and development practices. The internship provided invaluable insights into the operations of a financial institution and highlighted the critical role of training and development in human resource management. Mutual Trust Bank PLC, a prominent private commercial bank in Bangladesh, operates with a well-established network of 118 branches across the country. The bank offers a wide range of services and functions, catering to individuals, businesses, corporate entities, and multinational organizations. The report captures real-world experiences gained at the branch level, with a particular emphasis on analyzing the bank's training and development practices and day-to-day banking activities. It examines the training and development strategies employed by Mutual Trust Bank PLC and provides an in-depth evaluation of HR functions related to these areas. Relevant examples are included to demonstrate the practical implementation of training and development programs. The report concludes by identifying key challenges in the current processes and offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
