Abstract:
Internship report is submitted for fulfillment of the requirement of completion of Bachelor of
Business Administration (BBA) under Department of Business Administration, Daffodil
International University. The internship report title is "Recruitment and Selection Activities of
Shrabony Knitwear Ltd." and it has given an overall idea of the recruitment process and
procedures adopted by the company. Operating in HR Department of Garment Industry in
Bangladesh, its core sector, Shrabony Knitwear LTD. is a well-known garment manufacturer in
Bangladesh. Working as an intern with HR Department provided me the opportunity to observe
various stages of recruitment and selection process—varied from posting job announcements to
screening CVs to interviews to final appointment. In the following paper, an attempt is made to
make practical experience and theory go hand in hand. It describes how Shrabony Knitwear LTD.
operates to recruit and choose the right candidates, mentions equipment and machinery that is
used during selection, and assesses the performance of the existing system. In addition to pertinent
information on how HR activities operate under real circumstances, the report further contains
my assigned roles and responsibilities, areas to learn, and findings for this sub-section.
Ultimately, it offers recommendations and implications that can render the firm's recruitment
policies ever better.
