Abstract:
This report delivers an in-depth analysis of the Sales Management at Akij Venture Limited, selling
process, sales administration role and responsibilities, challenge areas, how they solve problem
and recommendations for development. The report analyzes the process of order management
using Oracle ERP, prioritizing the company’s systematic approach to handling order placement,
cancellation, returns, sales agreements, and customer communication. It demonstrates the
importance of appropriate communication and collaboration between the field force sales people
and the sales Admin department to ensure smooth operations and on time support to achieve
organizational goals.
As part of the order management team, the company uses Oracle ERP software for managing order
placement, order resubmissions for changing trade offers, sales return, sales agreement, and
generating reports such as balance statements, pending orders, customer-wise statements, and
collection reports. This helps manage transparency and reliability in business operations. In
addition, field force faces any issues are solve problem instantly, displaying the responsiveness of
the team and the productivity of the internal communication system.
The report also covers my contributions within the Sales Administration team, where I work for
order management team and I was responsible for order placement, cancellation, returns, sales
agreement preparation, and report generation. I managed challenging tasks such as order
resubmissions on oracle when any product trade offer change and communication with the field
force (ASM and RSM) to solve their problem instantly either its related-on oracle ERP or any
distribution related problem. All those responsibilities enabled me acquire practical experience in
sales operations, data management, and improving communication between departments in a fastmoving consumer goods (FMCG) company.
In conclusion, this report complete view of Akij Venture Ltd.’s sales administration operation and
strategies. It shows the company’s strengths in systematic order management and communication
while recognizing the opportunities for technological and operational improvements. Personally,
this internship has enhanced my interest in sales management, sales admin operations, and strategic
planning and achieve organizational goals. It has inspired me to aim for a successful career focused
on developing relevant skills, building teamwork, and continuous learning.
