Abstract:
The report is based on internships on the marketing strategy and operation procedure on IFAD
MOTORS LTD one of the leading companies in the commercial vehicle and motorcycle
manufacturer, importer and distributor under the automobile industry in Bangladesh. It does not
just take into account the company's status as the sole distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles
even as they distribute Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles, Apollo Tyres and Gulf Engine Oil.
12 weeks of Internship (Customer Relation Management) from IFAD Motors Ltd, head office in
which the intern got the practical experience in customer service, Showroom operation, CRM
software DMS, pre-booking handling, event management and marketing coordination. During our
daily work and participation in international events like the ICCB Moto Show, we learnt how those
marketing, brand positioning and customer relationship strategies are actually applied in practice.
The report further examines the company's marketing mix, highlighting the product offerings,
premium pricing strategies, distribution channels and the promotional efforts, both traditional and
digital. It also has a SWOT analysis and competitor benchmark to help frame IFAD market
presence.
The internship combined theoretical concepts learned through BBA courses with practical
experience in customer behaviour, service marketing and brand management. The report ends with
considerations of learnt experiences, career impact and suggestions to improve marketing
effectiveness & CRM performance in IFAD Motors Ltd.
