Abstract:
This internship report embodies the essence of a six-month professional exposure in Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden's Front Office section. It was both direct exposure and relevant knowledge on how the hotel establishes itself as the first and long-term impression for every guest. The Front Office serves as the face of the property, guiding each stage of the guest cycle with service excellence. Practical learning was undertaken through a wide range of activities including check-in and check-out, reservations, guest requests, and concierge services. I observed how the Front Office synchronizes every step of the guest cycle so service delivery is smooth during the internship. Under Pre-Arrival, meticulous reservations, special requests, and early confirmations were made to set expectations. In Arrival, prompt check-in, warm greeting, and speedy baggage handling created a good first impression. The Stay phase emphasized personalized service, prompt attention to the needs of the guests, and smooth coordination with the other departments to ensure maximum comfort. During the Departure phase, prompt check-out routines and prompt settlement of the accounts again emphasized guest satisfaction. Finally, during the Post-Stay phase, follow-up communication and collection of feedback from the guests allowed the hotel to strengthen loyalty and improve services. This systematic process highlighted the Front Office's central function in designing both short- and long-term guest experiences.
