dc.description Internship Report en_US
dc.description.abstract The Westin Blue Bay Resort and SPA, located near Jian Lake Blue Bay golf course. It offers rooms with stunning 180-degree views of the South China Sea. Westin, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts, began in 1930 when Severt W. Thurston and Frank Dupar formed a company to manage their hotels. Today, it has over 226 properties globally. The resort operates smoothly with departments such as Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food Production. The Food & Beverage department generates significant income, second only to the front office. Their operations involve preparing, serving, consuming, and cleaning. The internship program enhances knowledge of restaurant management, Chinese hospitality culture, and practical skills in the accommodation industry. The Food & Beverage department plays a vital role in achieving business success, focusing on delivering excellence, meeting customer needs, and contributing to the resort's overall achievements. en_US
