Abstract:
This report is made with the objective to help you to understand the function of the front office Department of Sea Pearl Beach Resort Spa, Cox’s Bazar. Moreover, the responsibilities of the front office department and how we assist the guests from their arrival to till departure and how the department contributes to selling of hotel rooms and other services to maximize the revenue of the hotel, is the focus of this report. Throughout the internship period, I have learned about the psychology of the guest and treat them accordingly and communicate with them. This Report includes physical all the hotel services and secondary information was analyzed to prepare the report. Obvious learning from my industrial training period is meeting Goal of Sea pearl beach resort & spa according to their mission and vision, How the departments of this hotel works, property show around to the guests, doing administrative works and coordinate with other departments like sales & marketing, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Accounts, and Food & beverage further needed. This study shows the operational process of front office department from guest check- in to check-out timing period.
