Abstract:
This report, titled An Evaluation of Recruitment & Selection Process of Ha-Meem Group,"
analyzes the recruitment and selection process at Ha-Meem Group, focusing on the strategies
and challenges the company faces in hiring qualified candidates. As part of my Bachelor of
Business Administration (BBA) internship at Daffodil International University, this report
examines how the company aligns its recruitment efforts with organizational goals to maintain
a competitive edge.
Ha-Meem Group utilizes both internal and external sources for recruitment, including
promotions, job portals, campus recruitment, and employee referrals. The selection process
involves multiple stages such as screening, written tests, interviews, and psychometric
assessments to ensure the best candidates are chosen. The company also has a structured
onboarding and orientation process to help new hires integrate smoothly. However, the process
faces several challenges, including being time-consuming, limited use of technology,
inconsistent feedback, over-reliance on traditional methods, and potential unconscious bias in
selection.
The report suggests that adopting advanced technology, streamlining processes, improving
feedback systems, and enhancing fairness and diversity in hiring can address these issues.
Overall, improving the recruitment and selection process will enhance Ha-Meem Group’s
ability to attract top talent, contributing to long-term organizational growth and success.
