Abstract

5th Conv000tion of GU was held on 13 January, 2016 at the Fbrmanent Campus of the university. Delegated by His Exelency Md. Abdd Harrod. Honorable President of the Fbople's Republc of Bangladesh and Chancelor of DIU, Mr. Nurul Islam Nolid. MP, Honorable Minster, Mnistry of Education, Bangladesh presided aver the Convocation and corierred the degrees. His Royal Highness Tuonku Syed Foizuddn Putro Ibn Toorku Syed Sratuddin Jamduloil. the Crown Prnce of Felts. Malaysia and Honorable Choncellor of Uriversiti Moloysio FbrIs lUniMAP/ attended as the Corwocation Speaker. A total of 3,683 students were conferred graduation and post graduation degreesand 14 groduatng students were awarded 'Gold Medal' n different categories in the Sth convocation . The Choncelor's Gold Medal winners were Zulfikor Ansory from It Fahmido Enron Mumu of BBA and Amery Khotun of Master of Science n ETE deportment. Chairman's Gold Medal wirers were Md labal Hossan from CSE. Tushar Kanti Kundu. Sheik Mahafuzur Rahman and kin Fbrvn from Law, Mst—lesrrin Aktor frcm Phomocy and Shasonko Shetkhof Mond& from MPH deportment. Vice Chancellor's Gold Medal wieners were Md. Motoddd Ebro Ann end Suotorshon Kundu from BBA. Mohammad Amon Llloh and Mohammad Hason Khan from ca and Aftab Hossan from .IMC department. Brigadier General Datuk Professor Emeritus Dr. Kamaruddin Hussain. VC.
