dc.description.abstract |
This report is prepared on the basis of my three-month practical experience at Super Star Lighting
Limited. This internship program helped me to learn about the practical scenario of a
Electric Company specially Lighting division. Super Star Lighting Limited is a dynamic and
leading countrywide Lighting solution provider. It is a sister concern company Super Star Group,
commenced its operation in 1994 under the brand name Super Star and with the product GLS Bulb
as primary Lighting solution providers in Bangladesh. Later, the company grew fast, expanded its
business and came out as a group. In the early of this century super star introduced environment
friendly CFL bulb and later introduced LED bulb and currently leading the both market of
accessories and Lighting..And in 2013 Super star Lighting came up with new brand name and as
a sister concern of super star group. This report has been presented based on my observation and
experience gathered from the company. The organization has many divisions and departments but
my focus is given more on the Marketing and Business Development (MBD) Division as I only
got the opportunity to work in this division. The report mentions about the Attitude of eco friendly
Lighting and the impact of marketing mix and benefits Super Star Lighting Limited provides to
their customer. A research is conducted to draw a conclusion on the basis of consumer’s Attitude
and the overall output of marketing mix. The result that is found is quite considerable. However
Super Star Lighting Limited should work a lot to make their customer aware about the needs of
eco friendly Lighting. The result of this research is described in details in this report in the later
chapters. After knowing the scenario of Super Star Lighting Limited in terms of their customer
knowledge a lot of recommendations came up. The report also consist recommendations and
conclusion according to my point of view, which I think would improve the environment of the
organization if implemented.
I have conducted a descriptive research under the topic “An Analysis of Marketing Strategies of
Super Star Lighting LTD” in the main body of the report. I have analyzed the results and brought
to the light the different scopes for improvement in the process. I have divided them into two
sections - from the point of view of the job and from my own research |
