dc.description.abstract Nothing can express the importance of learning English Language in this 21st century. 21st century is a period of modernity and very much commercial. In almost every sector of our life we need use English Language, because it is an international language acknowledged verywhere in the world. In Bangladesh the inevitability of using and learning of English is vital. Because we live in a country which is under developed and so we need to maintain the communication with other foreign countries ii the fields of journalism, education, shipping, tourism and business. But the demand of English language speaker in Bangladesh is not matched yet with the number of natives who speaks, read and write fluent English Language. As a result our young generations and native Bangladeshi people are losing the golden opportunities to earn hefty amount of money. However this report aims to discover the present teaching method of English in a Bangladeshi school as a second language which is situated in Tangail, Under Dhaka division. And this report also attempts to gather some recommendations for the betterment of teaching English Language in a more effective way. en_US
