dc.description.abstract This project is designed focusing on changing the behavior of our traditional attendance system. The main goal of this project is to handle the daily registration and calculating the attendance more easily and efficiently. The combination of an Android application and IOT device can make it happen. The target is to register the attendance via the application very easily. The device will hold the information of section and department of a person. A single scan can get the result. Further processing like saving the result, printing the result, uploading the result to a portal or database can be done by the application. Administration of a company or institution can handle and select who can use the application. Those who will use the application could select and scan a particular section or department based on his requirement. Uploading the result to the portal will calculate the ratio of attendance and absence of a person. For educational institutions, the portal will even calculate the mark based on their attendance. Implementation of this project can be a huge breakthrough. This attendance system is able to cope up with this digital era. en_US
