dc.description.abstract Report has been prepared on the basis of 15 days practical experience at International Centre for Diarrheal Disease Research , Bangladesh ( ICDDRB). This program help me to gather a lot of practical knowledge about diarrheal disease’s patients and also malnourished patients . ICDDR,B mainly works to improve nutritional status of our country . Result is very transparent , Bangladesh has been making a glorious progress for reduce malnutrition , a very big credit goes to ICDDR,B. we mainly work at their several units like emergency unit, short stay unit ,long stay unit ,general ward ,Out patient department ,Nutritional rehabilitation unit ,Nutrition follow up unit ,Diet unit and in breast feeding counselling unit .we deal with the patient to identify patent’s present conditions took the proper action to improve patient’s present diseases condition .we prepared several diet item which was provided to the patients depending on his/her age , physical conditions. We were able to learn how to prepare the diet which are very important for the patients especially for the diarrheal diseases patients and malnourished patients .we gathered detailed knowledge about the breast feeding counselling ,where health workers are trying at their highest level to motivate the mother to feed their breast milk to their baby . en_US
