dc.description.abstract Each and every company or organization is a functional body of the Chair/ CEO, Managers, Executives, employees and many other general participants. For each of these functional bodies event especially management of information and function of like the Parliamentary Standing committee becomes very crucial for healthy and effective management. The MIS creates impact in such organization which relates to the understanding of the committee functions itself and development of any decision process. The MIS begins with the definition of data, entity and its attributes. It uses a dictionary of data, entity and attributes, respectively, designed for information generation in the organization. Since all the information systems use the dictionary, there is common understanding of terms and terminology in the organization bringing clarity in the communication and a similar understanding of functioning in the organization. The MIS calls for a systematization of the business operations for an effective system design. This leads to streaming of the operations which complicates the system design. It improves the administration of the business by bringing a discipline in its operations as everybody is required to follow and use systems and procedures. This process brings a high degree of professionalism in the business operations. The design of the proposed system was done as per the user requirement. The thesis is organized as, brief introduction followed by literature review. Next background and description of the subject of organization- Parliamentary Standing committee on ICT Division, has been discussed. Next the System Requirements for MIS are analyzed in detail with direct and indirect data analysis, construct the outline of the proposed MIS, find out the challenges against system implementation. en_US
