dc.description.abstract Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) is the premier Postgraduate Medical Institution of the country. It has an enviable reputation for providing high quality postgraduate education in different specialties. BSMMU offers both in-patient service and out-patient service. Daily a large number of patients come to this hospital for treatment. These patients are happy with the doctor’s service. This thesis report attempts to give an idea about the present condition of the outdoor patient service of dental OPD. Analysis of the current outdoor patients operation and to suggest some ways to make improvement of the outdoor patient service. After visiting the dental OPD of BSMMU the researcher finds that the patients are satisfied with the doctor’s service but there are certain problems like the patients had to wait for a long time in the registration queue and in waiting room for the doctor’s arrival. These improvements can be made by some necessary steps like increasing the registration staff so that the patients don’t have to wait for so long in the queue. If the doctor arrives in time then the waiting time in the waiting room of the patients will decrease. en_US
