Abstract:
Tough computer technology has made our life so speedy and fast but have come with facilities of some drawbacks. We cannot think our entire activities, government operations and daily business without using computer. This has been made us dependent on it by proliferation of user-friendly, powerful and cheap technology. Besides, it has enabled us to rely on it more importantly in our normal way of life. Equivalent to more than one third of the total world’s population currently directly and indirectly using internet. Developed countries are using more than the developing counties which is approximately 70 percent and 24 percent respectively. Business firms, private sectors and government organizations which are working with immeasurable valuable secured data and information using internet facilities in both developed and developing countries due to economic and demographic transformations, with rising income disparities, tightened private sector spending, and reduced financial liquidity. This demographic which is also broadly corresponds with a group often at special risk of criminal offending. The growth of internet can be compared with an infrastructure like the development of roads, electricity, and railways which are dependent on a huge amount of economic investment and proper Management of Information System (MIS). There is no doubt that, Information System (IS) and internet are enhancing capabilities of human interaction in our socio-economic benefits which can be used for criminal activity.
