dc.description.abstract The report summary that the findings on the study titled “Role of Television on the Farmers Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) in the Sustainable Agricultural Development: A Case Study of Two Union in Dhaka District.” Two Unions in Dhaka district were chosen for the study Considering my time & budget limitations. This research has been conducted both the quantitative and qualitative methods. I have interviewed 60 Respondents. It contains 30 respondents from each union. Keraniganj upazila is the largest in 5 upazilas of Dhaka division. There are 12 union parishads in Keraniganj upazila. The objectives of my study are- To understand the Role of Television in disseminating knowledge and information to the Farmers on Sustainable Agriculture. To find out the Role of Television on Farmers Attitude towards Environment Friendly Agriculture. And To identify the Farmer’s initiatives to Apply Knowledge In Environment Friendly Agricultural activities after watching Television Programs. The research shows that, the most of the Respondents (90%) watching agro based programs on different channels regularly. In my entire study found that, Of the 60 respondents, 45 are seen regularly channel I, “Ridoye Mati O Manush” Program. Approximately 36% Farmers are watching regularly this program. Approximately 90.74% of the farmers think that, these programs have increased their Knowledge in comparison to the earlier times. In my research, most respondents know about the “Environment Friendly Agricultural System,” About 85.19% of The Respondents agreed that, they have informed on how to increase the production without Affecting the environment, 81.48%, Respondents answered that, they saw many reports on different channels based on “Pheromone Trap” on Television. en_US
