Stock Prediction of Bangladesh Share Market

Abstract

The stock market plays several roles in our economy. It works as a mid-part between surplus and deficit units of the economy. But considering Bangladesh stock market, it is not yet to play its potential role as a medium for financing long term investment. But however, a fierce downtrend has been trying to overcome successfully after the hangover of an unsavory historical past which saw a dramatic immersion in the last half of 1996 and beginning of 2011. A number of actions from the regulatory bodies were the main reason of losing public confidence from the stock market. To improve this situation and to bring back the public confidence to stock market, we are going to implement a project “Stock Prediction of Bangladesh Share Market” which can predict the stock market. By the help of “Hidden Markov Model (HMM)” using Data Mining, we are going to forecast or predict future share price. Main Outcome of this project is to make people interest in Bangladesh Share Market and help them to invest their valuable money in the right place.
