Abstract:
In order to get an authentic knowledge about the reality of English Language Teaching (ELT) in
Bangladeshi Schools, it is necessary to visit a school, observe English language Classes and
collect real time data from there. To do this, a pilot project was designed including a three-day-field
visit to a school and directly involving in the teaching and learning process of the school. Some important
facts and figures was found which are included in the report after the observation. This report has drawn
some recommendations and findings to improve the situation in the future.
