dc.description.abstract Sonali Bank Limited (SBL) is the largest state owned commercial Bank in Bangladesh. Sonali Bank Limited have 1215 branch across the country. It provides different banking services like Corporate Banking, Project Finance, SME Finance, Remittance, Lease Finance, Government Treasury Function, Money Market Operation, Rural and Micro credit, Consumer Credit loan etc. All this baking operation are maintain centrally. For this the bank need to collect all of the transaction data, customer information & account information in real time. To make this possible Sonali Bank Limited use a highly secure network infrastructure. The network is use to synchronous and transfer data between branches and data center. The Sonali Bank Limited’s Data Centre, which is the heart of Sonali Bank Limited IT Division, The whole operation is maintain by IT department of Sonali Bank Limited. This report will describe how the IT division maintain, monitoring and troubleshoot network problem and data center connectivity. IT division also provide support for different banking functionality. By highlighting all these events, this report delivers a rather composed picture of the huge working process, conducted within a bank’s management system using IT infrastructure. During my internship period I earn the fast hand experience about network management. en_US
