The ready-made garments (RMG) sector emerged in late 1970s. Low production cost
is our main benefit. The moving of the country largely depend on export product. So
far Bangladeshi garments are dependent on USA and EU markets. In 1976 the RMG
export was only 0.001 percent of the total export of Bangladesh. Now this sector
contributes large number in economy of Bangladesh.
