Description:
In this post-modern and globalized time, English language has become an avenue to
connect the world closer than ever. It has created a platform of oneness as a medium of
communication across the world. People from any country cannot deny its acceptance, significance
and importance to go with the time in this era. As a developing country, Bangladesh do not have
the scope to think twice to cherish this language in order to stay connected with educational,
economic, cultural and political changes. The country possesses a very poor number of individuals
who have understood the need of the language. The number should get accelerated soon through
ensuring overall education because education can play a pivotal role to aware a people rapidly. To
analyze and evaluate the present scenario of language teaching in Bangladesh, I was asked by my
supervisor Md Rafiz Uddin to visit a school and compile an internship report on the scenario of
English language teaching in Bangladeshi school. As my supervisor advised, I visited a school,
interviewed different teachers and students and attempted to the findings and finally compiled
them in this report.
