e-Learning Management System

Abstract

E-learning technologies are becoming familiar to the academic institutions, especially the universities as a result of the recent initiatives of Digital Bangladesh vision taken by the government of Bangladesh. It has created opportunities for moving towards technology-supported education in the country. Within the scope of this undergraduate project, I have developed an E-learning system to fulfill the demand of our teaching and learning communities. The E-learning system was developed using the most popular Java programming language. for backend Java-based Spring Boot framework is used. MYSQL is used for Data Storage and management.hibernate framework is used for ORM(object-relational mapping). For drawing DFD, ERD, Use case diagram I'm using Lucidchart. Frontend: HTML, CSS,js, bootstrap is used. The E-learning system has a lot of features for the teachers and the students. These are course information, lecture materials posting in the form of text, audio, and video, discussion blog for interaction between the students and the teachers and real-time communication facilities. At present, Daffodil International University and a few universities in Dhaka city are teaching several courses in a blended approach. So, this system may be used in the practical content as the system is very user-friendly and compatible to meet the needs of the users.
