Development of “Helpline for Uttara Campus”

Abstract

Our final project is a web based application for the students of Uttara campus of Daffodil International University. This system deals with the counseling system, blood bank, previous project information, library management system, virtual notice board and accounts information. This application has been developed considering student’s benefits and requirement. By using this system not only the students will be benefited but also teachers will be benefited. By this application the students will be able to check and confirm their counseling appointment easily.This application will also increase the interest of donating blood to the users both faculty and students as there is a blood bank. Students will be able to easily communicate with their seniors and juniors whenever they need blood in emergency. By using this application, students can get all advantage of library management through online. Students can easily get all notifications of accounts section through this application. They don’t need to check the email for accounts related information. This application includes six different beneficial features like “Counseling Management System”, “Library Management System”, ”Blood Bank”, “Virtual Notice Board”, “Previous project list” and “Accounts Notification”. This project trades with the salvation of information through an INTRANET based campus wide portal.
