dc.description.abstract Our project titled “BlindGuard: An Android Apps for helping Blind people” is an android app for security of Blind person. Using this APP will make it easier for blind people to walk and communication with parents. Our app can be used by any blind person and their guardian. This will improve the quality of life of the blind person. This app will use a smart stick by which the blind person will be notified in advance of any obstacles in front of him or her on the way. Through location tracking, his parents will know where he is. She will easily find everything she needs and it will be easy for her to maintain contact. Can read any text. Any questions that this app asks through the blind person will be answered. It will show the best way to his destination. Emergency calls can be made. In addition, this app can store the database and all the information needed by its guardians. It also reduces time. We use java and SDK for front-end design and firebase for back-end design. We also use firebase as our main database. This application is very user friendly. After finishing all the tasks and test process this application proved to be working. en_US
