dc.description.abstract This paper aims to illustrate the current state of teaching English Language at schools in Bangladesh. This report is based on the experiences as an intern in Akij Foundation School and College to fulfill the requirements of the course title Project Paper (ENG334). The intern has utilized all her derived experiences during her academic learning in this procedure. The main objective of this project is to investigate how schools are emphasizing English, how speaking English is emphasizing in the classroom, what particular way the teacher follows to teach English, students’ participation in learning English and how much they are proficient in the English language etc. To verify the above things, several ways are followed, such as; interviews, observations, assessments, evaluation, feedback and more experiments. The study has provided some recommendations based on findings for the progress of the teachers, students and authorities of Bangladeshi Schools. This paper will be beneficial as a mentor for a new teacher. en_US
