Bangladesh Blood Services Management System (BBSMS)

Abstract

Bangladesh Blood Services Management System (BBSMS) is an academic project. This project is about safe blood transfusion under the centralized supervision and regulation of the government. By using this system blood seeker can make requests for emergency blood and the system will find the nearest available blood donors of a particular blood group and then send an email and message to them. Blood banks and their medical officers can check if the donor is eligible for donation based on the donor’s last donation date. Voluntary organizations can maintain their private donor database and respond to seekers' private requests. This system will ensure the safety of blood donors and also increase the revenue for the government.
