dc.description All educational institutes of Bangladesh are closed for the reason of Covid -19. Although some private sectors do not stop their activities, they are taking their classes, exams and all other activities online. As a result, students are not losing their valuable time, English is one of the most important subjects for students in their 14 years of educational life. It is difficult to teach English language because it is the second language of our country. It is being more difficult for the reason of outbreak lockdown situations. For completing the project paper the authority of our university gave us the opportunity for finishing the course entitled as Project Paper (ENG 334). My supervisor Mr. Mohammad Elius Hossain suggested that I can observe two classes and conduct one class. en_US
dc.description.abstract The project was assigned to know how English language classes were being taught online. Because of covid-19 all educational institutions are closed in Bangladesh. Daffodil International University gave us the opportunity to complete the project online. Firstly, I observed language classes taught by my peers. While observing classes, I focused on some elements like teaching style, teaching method, and feedback of the class. Actually, with the help of an observation checklist, the main focus of that observation was how English language was taught online in the pandemic situation of coronavirus. As a requirement of this project, I was also given an opportunity to teach a language class. After observing two language classes and teaching one class, I found out some strengths and weaknesses of online English language teaching which have been clearly provided in this paper. Based on the findings, a few recommendations have been offered towards the end of this paper. en_US
