dc.description.abstract This paper examines the perception of the audience of Bangladesh on Indian serials. For this purpose, a survey was taken from 80 people of Bangladesh for primary findings. Data and information have also been taken from various journals, newspapers, article and online portals. The result of the survey reveals that, most of the audience of Indian serials are young generation, female society, housewives, students and unemployed. The survey also postulates that, most of them watch these serials for entertainment and maintaining social relationship. The survey also discloses that, attractive production than Bangladeshi serials, family dispute, extra-marital relationship, family conspiracy, latest fashion trend are reasons to watch Indian Bangla serials. The survey also exposes that, these serials create addiction and also audience believes that, these serials represent current reality and so they try to follow the lifestyle shown in these serials. The most important findings from this survey are these serials influence family relationship negatively, destabilize personal behavior, familial and social life and also harmful for own language. en_US
