Abstract

MikroTik operating system is designed as a network router. It is the operating system and software that can be used to make a computer into a reliable network router, MikroTik Rooters operating system is a commercially developed operating system that is designed especially for embedded devices in function as active network components such as routers, wireless access points, client stations and applications and also by using the manufacturer’s proprietary protocols using its specialized applications. The computer includes a variety of features for IP networks and wireless networks. These functions include many features. For this we studied on different MikroTik Router OS features- routing firewall, IP and bandwidth management, wireless access point, bridge, hotspot gateway, VLAN, NAT, Pool, DHCP and more. Finally, to manage and provide security in our network we use some special features of MikroTik Router.
