dc.description.abstract In a very recent work (Murad, 2018) one of the present authors represents an algorithm for constructing all the static spherically symmetric exact anisotropic solutions of Einstein’s field equations of embedding class 1 based on a single generating function. In this work we apply the same algorithm to construct stellar models by generalizing some previous and offering some new forms of the generating function. The resulting equation of state and energy density, radial and tangential pressures, pressure anisotropy for a compact star having mass and radius similar to PSR J1614-2230 have been analyzed and the numerical values are found quite in agreement with the authors’ previous works. en_US
