dc.description.abstract In this article, a new structure of modified E shaped MPA has been designed and proposed which covers almost entire C frequency band (4 GHz to 8 GHz) of satellite communication with standard gain. Rogers RT5880 (lossy) is used as dielectric substrate material having dielectric constant of 2.2 and tangent loss of 0.0009. The size of the proposed antenna is of 8000 mm3 At first all performance parameters of the proposed antenna have been estimated by using Zeland IE3D simulation software. Then the same design has also been analyzed by using CST to buttress the performance of the proposed antenna. From the performance estimation and analysis of two separate simulation softwares, it can be concluded that the proposed modified E shaped antenna would be an excellent candidate for C band satellite applications. en_US
