Abstract:
This project is an IoT based development project titled “IoT Based Child Safety
Locator from Water and Fire”. For the past few years, the child date rate has been a
major concern, particularly in our country. This IoT based development project is
designed & built for general people who don’t need any depth knowledge of using
digital technology. This project is mainly focused to reduce the child death rate. Also,
this can ensure the awareness of parents for the children. In this system we used node
MCU, GPS module and many other components but these two components executes
the most vital role in this project. Node MCU is mainly working for connecting the
system to the internet. For this it's an excellent choice for a variety of Internet of Things
(IoT) projects. GPS module is used for tracking location. It is easy to acquirable for
anyone because they can track through GPS satellite. This project aims at detecting fire
and water by giving notification to the parents of the exact location. The location
automatically send via short message service (SMS) to the parents through an android
based smartphone even if they are out of their workplace. This system is more effective
than many IoT based system by detecting the temperature and measuring the water
humidity. To demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this system, both water
and fire sensor is worked for warm and cold environment.
