Abstract:
Using the analysis methodology, I attempted to evaluate the financial results of Social Islami Bank
Limited. The key information was obtained from SIBL's annual financial statements from 2015 to
2019. It is essential to have a knowledge of the company, its services, and the key goods it provides
to its clients. I attempted to reflect on the bank's founding history, mission and vision, major
divisions and business units, and key goods and services in this segment.
Then I concentrate on my key point for Performance Analysis, which includes multiple Ratio Data
Analysis.
Liquidity, profitability, efficiency, solvency and market aspects are the five basic aspects of
banking operations that have been practiced using ratio analysis.
The overall productivity and success of a bank is calculated by profitability ratios. We concluded
that the SIBL's return on equity ratio is optimistic. By using shareholder equity, management is
successful in generating profit. The earnings-per-ratio (EPSR) shows that the market expects SIBL
to do well in the future. As a result, I found that SIBL's overall profitability is suitable.
SIBL is very effectively handling its internal assets and liabilities, according to an analysis of
overall asset turnover ratio and inventory turnover ratio.
SIBL's liquidity ratio demonstrates how easily it can turn its reserves into currency. As a result,
we can conclude that SIBL's liquidity situation is good.
A common-size financial statement is one that is designed as a percentage of a single used number.
It's easier to evaluate a company overtime and compare it to rivals when financial statements are
all the same size. a raw financial statement cannot reveal by using common-size financial
statements.
A trend analysis is a methodology for analyzing financial statements that displays shifts in the
numbers of related financial statement elements over time. The statements are used in two or more
periods.
