dc.description.abstract Our project named Voice Activated Braille is a portable device that will help blind or visually impaired people to recognize certain written characters without any partial help. This is an Arduino controlled device that will be able to guide blind people. The device mainly works as a guide to the blind people, a different virtual world for the blind people which makes them equally hopeful to the rest of the normal people of the world. we showed blind people can get benefits from the innovative braille techniques and discuss some representative examples to illustrate how this device can be utilized to address the information technology problem of blind and visual impaired people. This device is portable and can avoid partial help for blind people and will help them to read anything without any help as well. Thus, can greatly contribute in reducing the visibility problem of blind people and give them a sort of freedom. en_US
