Design and Development of an E-shop – Dokani Mama

Abstract

“Dokani Mama” is a Business to Consumer online E-commerce application which is designed as an easy solution for online shopping opportunity for consumers. This shopping platform has a lot features for customers. In today's world, a web application is an especially helpful and essential tool, and it is becoming incredibly popular. Customers are encouraged to shop online rather than in person during the COVID-19 crisis due to health concerns, and the entire world is attempting to carry business via the internet. The main objective of the E-commerce Portal is to keep track of product, customer, shipping, payment, and category information. It also has a couple of secondary goals. It keeps track of all of the products, sales, categories, and product information that is loaded into it. The system is developed using PHP, HTML, CSS etc. It basically helps consumers who want to buy their necessary products in a userfriendly manner. The consumers can simply visit the system, choosing products from any category, register for order, log into their accounts and finally can make payment of their purchased amount. The customers can edit their order list before order confirmation. It provides 24x7 supports. Customers can make inquiries about any products or services and place orders anytime, anywhere from any location. The present shopping website includes a range of electronic items, garments of all age groups, home appliances, medical instruments and other necessary products that consumers require on a daily basis. This project developed based on Bangladeshi people. Now this project only for web platform and in near the future, I will try the system that will be connecting for smartphone users. As like the android and ios app platform.
