dc.description.abstract Monkeypox is a rare disease similar to smallpox caused by the monkeypox virus. Typically, people of Central and West Africa are affected by monkeypox through traveling contact with other persons who are already affected by monkeypox pox. The study aimed to find out the knowledge prevalence rate, and management treatment of monkeypox among College students. Of the 195 participants, the students were 45 % male and 55% female, 89%unmarried, 11% married. 90% of students have heard the name monkeypox 10% of students don't know about monkeypox. 62% of students learned about monkeypox for the first time via social media, 20% through news articles, 16% from teachers,55% of participants think that monkeypox is transmitted by Air and another 45% of participants don’t think it is transmitted by air. 56% of students responded that symptoms of monkeypox typically appear within 2 weeks, 16% said that they typically appear within 3 weeks, and 28% said that they typically appear within 4 weeks. We know about monkeypox but do not have sufficient knowledge about treatment and management. Monkeypox is a viral disease, it can be converted serious disease so we need a large-scale study about it. en_US
