Teaching and Learning Scenario of English in an Educational Institute of Bangladesh

Abstract

The topic of my internship report is “Teaching & Learning Scenario of English in an Educational Institute of Bangladesh.” I choose to teach from my love and respect for this profession. I have always seen a Teacher as a parental figure, a mentor, a leader, a good advisor, a motivator, a leader, a well wisher and a good friend also. Students never forget their teacher and get inspired by their positive impact. My own love for learning from my teachers made me passionate about Teaching Profession. I also want that my students will learn from me and remember me for lifetime. That’s why I took my internship as a teacher. I chose to teach as a guest teacher at The Naria Government College. I had joined there on 17th August,2022. This college is located at Naria upazila , Shariatpur. My internship lasted from August 17th until November 17th. First, I went to the college and asked Professor Maksuda Khatun the Principal of the college for permission .Then she introduced me to the English teacher and other teachers and stuffs. I completed my internship with taking fifteen classes as well as observed five classrooms. I had also learned teachers' attitudes, strategies, teaching styles, classroom environment, and responsibilities during this three months of internship. It was an amazing experience for me.
