The initial goal of this internship paper is to present the current situation of teaching "English for Today" textbook as a part of teaching English in secondary schools of our country. This investigation seeks to explore the issues that come with teaching the prescribed English textbook 'English for Today' to classes 6 and 10 in a secondary school in Bangladesh. In order to explore this, I have collected data from a secondary school at Mymensingh. In that government high school, I observe how the teacher teaches English for today's book as well as the English language in a few classes. I observe the teachers' teaching techniques, the materials teachers use, how the teacher interacts with students, and how the teacher engages students in the class during the observation. According to my given observation checklist, I tried to list things that were incompetent and the limitations in the class of secondary level. I also learned a lot about the teaching staff and was able to comprehend how the teacher attracts students to the class. I also learned a lot about the teaching profession and was able to comprehend how the teacher attracts students to the class. In the part preceding the conclusion, I elaborate on my experience in teaching and observing. |
