dc.description.abstract My internship report is centralized on “The Present Scenario of English language teaching in a Bangladeshi School”. For completing the internship, I have chosen New Model Multilateral High school and fortunately, I got their permission to do my internship there. The period of my internship was from 27th October to 2nd November 2022. Firstly, I went to the school and met the Headmaster A.S.M Feroz for permission. Then I told them my purpose for going there and showed him to the recommendation letter from my university. He gave me permission to complete my internship. Therefore, he also thanked our university for such an innovative project. Then he took me to the English day and morning shift assistant teachers and introduced me to them. Then teachers told me about classroom rules and activities which made my work easier. There I observed the classes, the teacher's attitude, teaching style, and students’ comfort and engagement in the class, and the most important thing I noticed is the relationship between teachers and students also thereby student active class discipline. After completing my class observation, I prepared myself for taking classes so then I made my lesson plan. And my classes were at class 8(Morning and day shift) and 10. Here I tried to apply different methods of teaching which I learned from the course English Language Teaching (ELT) and English language Proficiency also thereby the class observation. Overall, it was an excellent experience for me while accomplishing my internship report. en_US
